Flashback MP3 of the Day is where we shed a little light on an indie gem from the past. Today's song is from Portland, Oregon's NEW BAD THINGS. A few people considered this band to be one of the Northwest's most important exports in the 90's. New Bad Things released three albums between 1992 - 97. Today's song is called Concrete from the album Freewheel! If you're able to track down a copy of this record.... buy it! It is a lo-fi pop masterpiece! I hope you enjoy it. This New Bad Things track ROCKS! Didn't they write an anti-Portland song? How long do we have to wait until you post that one?
This is one of the great missing Northwest albums. In fact its missing from my collection right now...CHRIS!
