The Band That Would Be King

If you have never seen the 1993 Jeff Feuerzeig film, HALF JAPANESE: The Band That Would Be King, you really should. It's any excellent documentary about, arguably, the world's greatest underground band. I've put together a seven minute clip of (just a few of) my favorite scenes. It's totally worth watching! Please check it out if you get a chance. Watch the video here.

This is one of the greatest music documentaries ever. The best advice for any musician is contained in this movie. I love the line about chords being important to connect the amp to the guitar. I put a notch in my drumset after every show!

That documentary is wonderful. It's funny, because the picture you posted there of the band is one I've seen over and over and is the cover to their greatest hits cd and everything, but it was only last week i realized Destroy All Monsters was a band and not just some thing jad wrote on a t-shirt.
