THE BESTIES are a Brooklyn, NY three piece (Marisa, Kelly and Rikky). This past February saw the release of their first CD, Singer on Skipping Stones Records. It's an eight song blast of tambourine shaking melodies inspired by 1980's indiepop. Today's MP3, Prison Song, is from their debut. You can catch The Besties at this year's Athens Popfest. They are playing on Thursday, August 10th at Little Kings.
