MP3 of the Day

The Athens Popfest started yesterday in Athens, GA. For the rest of the week we're gonna feature songs by bands that are playing at this year's festival. Today's song, Vacationland, is by THE GAZETTEERS, from the album Territory Songs - released on Magic Marker Records. THE GAZETTEERS are playing this year's festival (tomorrow) Thursday, August 10th at the 40 Watt.

A cool thing about Frank is that you never know which line-up he's bringing. Devoted to the people close to him, his bands result into loose creative hobbies. It's not his 'career' like Hootie's drummer once self-professed. Are H&BFish still considering controversial album art?

"Devoted to the people close to him, his bands result into loose creative hobbies."

Can we edit out this pontification?

creative hobbies? frank's passion of the embroidery stole most of his free time years ago. although, that was before he discovered salt dough.

I've heard Frank has an impressive collection or historic maps and Roman infantry figurines. Is that true?

Rumor has it that somewhere on the internet there's a satirical take on frank's DVD-R, "Weddings, graduations and other semiformal occurrences." The pirated opening credits alone - of the original - were worth my $2.99 money order!
