Jad and David Fair started the band HALF JAPANESE in their bedroom in Uniontown, Maryland in 1975. Though neither could play a single note on any instrument, they went on to record one of the greatest albums of all time. Today's song, Red Dress, is from that album, Charmed Life, released in 1988 on 50 Skidillion Watts Records. Check out a video of Jad preforming the song here.

i think i have a different version of this song on a krs compilation
Actually they did know how to play a single note.
Before I mastered "Mary Had a Little Lamb," I couldn't play a single note either. Or could I?
