TULLYCRAFT TUESDAY

Each Tuesday we feature a band (or artist) covering a Tullycraft song. Today we have BOAT (from Seattle, WA), doing The Last Song, from our most recent album, Disenchanted Hearts Unite. BOAT have a brand new album (just released) on Magic Marker Records, called Songs That You Might Not Like. They are playing a record release show this Saturday (Aug 5th) in Seattle, at the Sunset Tavern. Hey! If you're in a band or know a band that covers a Tullycraft song, send it our way and we'll put it on the site!

You need to rock the BOAT, if for no other reason than coming up with the greatest album title of all time: Songs That You Might Not Like. I love it!

Some mono-hull sailboats have twin rudders. I know that for sure!

Despite deep forays into industrial and post-rock, with all the guitar oceans and ponderous rhythms that entails, BOAT insists on calling itself a "sloppy/poppy three piece."

Thanks Sean! You've given me the name of my summer project zine: Mono-Hull. Too bad all of your "good friends" don't want to help. You might want to retitle that song Leader of the New School. Okie-dokie, your fave twin rudder, Allison.
