Video of the Day

Here's a video of TULLYCRAFT playing a new song called, Georgette Plays A Goth, at our most recent show (here in Seattle). The sound quality isn't great, but it's not terrible... or is it? Either way, enjoy!

i can't see or hear
my mom is conveying that the
documentarian is very talented
to hold such a steady cam whlie
dancing wildly
that seems impossible
i can't even trust my own mom
the camera person is probably enjoying the aesthetic with
his mind
something i am unable to do

This makes me want to go out dancing in a lesbian bar. here's what thestranger.com recommends for tonight:

Chateau Ste. Michelle—Styx (7 pm, all ages), $39.50/$69.50

Bus Stop—DJ One of God's Beautiful Creatures spinning Mooncity Plaza Hotel, free

Any girls want an all-expense paid trip to Woodinville?

Yes, Robert Pollard is priceless...so i didn't buy the GBV bio. Skimmed thru two pages, something about Pete Townshend not liking the band, and Pollard calling The Who and Stones rock gods who don't get out amongst the scenes and smell around...

There's a Guided By Voices biography book where the author writes that in an interview Pete Townshend says he doesn't like GBV's music. And to that statement, Pollard says a few things ending with the comment that Townsehnd (or The Who) and the Stones are just "rock gods" that are essentially out of touch by not going to see smaller bands. He says the word "smell" I remember that, but I think this was the gist.
