The Long Winters is a kind of catchy name? I'm sure the more I think about it, the less I'll like it.
Huh? There is a John Roderick-esque thing going on here. And "Pushover" does sound like it could have been a NPB song.
yeah, that's peter hughes on the end. though, i don't think he was in the band yet when power trips... was recorded. i'm pretty sure joey burns (from giant sand/calexico) was the bassist on this album.
