The BMX BANDITS are a Scottish guitar pop band who have been putting out records since 1989. Over the years they have shared members with other Belshill bands that include: The Soup Dragons, Teenage Fanclub and The Pastels. Today we have, Miss Nude Black America, from their album, Down At The Hop, released on Shoeshine Records in 2003.

Cool. It's like a quirky They Might Be Giants song, albeit with a humanness to it.
Say what you like about Duglas Stewart, but he's a charming man. Especially the gesturing whilst singing. Kind of Pans People but with a touch of Frank Sidebottom. And with little anecdotes between the songs ranging from Roy Castle to "Is Jamie good? Jamie's good!" each Bandit's gig glides smoothly forward to the band's final song - "Disco Girl".
going through all the archives to get the songs that i've missed (turns out to be quite a few). bmx bandits were katy's (sheggi) from the fat tulips childhood friend. that's my two cents.
