THE EAMES ERA are a resilient bunch. They've survived two hurricanes and a serious car accident near their hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The band members were relatively unscathed considering the violence of the wreck, but singer Ashlin Phillips needed several stitches in her face and guitarist Ted Joyner underwent surgery for his broken arm.
