Today we have a cover of The Modern Lovers' classic Don't Let Our Youth Go To Waste by GALAXIE 500. This one is great.

This is a tremendous cover and one of my favorite Galaxie 500 songs. The original Modern Lovers version is haunting -- even distressing. Wareham and Co. add, I think, an uncommon beauty, and make the song totally their own. Kudos for posting it, Mr. Tollefson!
