On this day in 1975, Sonny and Cher divorced. After scoring several hit records in the 1960s, the couple launched a hit comedy variety show that ran from 1971 until their divorce. After the split, both Sonny and Cher tried and failed to launch solo comedy-variety shows. Today we have LUNA covering the Beat Happening classic Indian Summer.

Luna's version is so good, esp. after seeing Gibbard's doumentary by the same guy who filmed Tullycraft at the cabin.
Ben Gibbard covering Beat Happening is just wrong! Even though he grew up in Bremerton, WA he didn’t even discover them until he was out of college. Can you spell poser?
