Marlborough, N.H. -- Police in New Hampshire are searching for two thieves in a store robbery where they scammed a store owner by pretending they could read his mind before stealing money from his store. The store owner said he believes the men were able to hypnotize him into giving them money. A surveillance tape shows him removing cash from a hollowed-out book before getting more money from the safe. After watching the tape, police said the store owner seemed to have fallen under their spell. "From him telling me, I wouldn't believe it," Detective Steve LaMears said.
