MP3 of the Day

Actor/Director Orson Welles died of a heart attack at age 70 on this day in 1985. Welles made important contributions to the development of film, introducing new camera and sound techniques. His best-known movie, Citizen Kane (1941) is often cited as being one of the most innovative works in the history of film. In 2007 the American Film Institute placed the film at number-one in its list of the 100 greatest U.S. movies of all time. In a recent poll of film directors conducted by the British Film Institute, Citizen Kane was ranked the number one best film of all time. Pretty impressive, considering Welles was only 25 when he made it. Today we have The End by DAVID & THE CITIZENS from their album, Until The Sadness Is Gone.
