On this day in 1956, Elvis Presley's first movie Love Me Tender opened at the Paramount Theater in New York. The movie earned back its $1 million cost in just three days. Over the next 13 years, Elvis would appear in 32 more movies. Today we have SONDRE LERCHE covering the 1980 Pete Townshend classic Let My Love Open The Door.

I had chicken tenders once and they came with three differnt dippin' sauces. Nasty Ranch, Barfy BBQ, and Crappy Crap Crap. I threw those back in the face of the Waitress and said bring me another gin and tonic.
