MP3 of the Day

The first entirely computer-animated feature, Toy Story, was released on this day in 1995. The movie, produced by Pixar grossed $300 million in one year. Today we have JEFF TWEEDY (from Wilco) covering the Bob Dylan classic Simple Twist Of Fate.

Today my dog and I went for a walk. It started innocent enough. As soon as we got to the river trail, Gunther (my golden) took off after what seemed to be a man in a Bigfoot outfit. I chased after them but of course the two packs a day habit did not allow me much of a chase. I sat down on a log pulled out a Lucky Strike and took in all the smoke I could get, it was delicious. Well ten minutes later Gunther show up with what looked like an arm of some hairy beast. I thought should I contact the authorities or go home and make some stew out it. I chose the latter. I think this is going to be a great Thanksgiving.

This is my favorite Bob Dylan song (well toss up between this and "Sweetheart Like You."). I can't believe I love this cover, but I do.

I love the line, "He woke and the room was bare, He didn't see her anywhere. He told himself he didn't care." I wish it was included in this version.

Good anyway.

p.s. to Pappy--- What was it? Did you try to find the rest of it and mend it back together? I feel so bad for that poor lost hairy arm.
