MP3 of the Day

Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts, one of TV's first amateur talent shows debuted on this day in 1948. The show discovered numerous stars, including Rosemary Clooney, Pat Boone, Connie Francis, and Patsy Cline. Elvis Presley flunked his audition for the show in 1955. The show ran for a decade and was canceled in 1958. Today we have the song Xs And Os by THE LOVES from their album Technicolour.

Great story and song! I'm a little on overdrive this morning. My ladyfriend, caught up in holiday ecstasy, served me breakfast in bed - an omelette and ice cream, then she showed me the few stuffed animals she'd bought last night.

Now this Tullycraft page! The X and O's makes me think of Elliot Smith, which always reminds me of being introduced to the music of Joe Jackson, since I picked up "Night & Day" when I got "X/O."

Today is Thursday, December 6, 2007. This is the 340th day of the year, with 25 days remaining in 2007.

Fact of the Day: worms

Worms don't have eyes, so they feel their way around. They move very slowly, so they don't get hurt if they bump into something. They do have light-sensitive organs on their heads and tails to detect harsh sunlight that would dry them out. When they sense bright light, they retreat back underground
See I can be sensitive!
Now Go SUCK IT!
I need a drink.
