Brazilian children's television show host, Xuxa (pronounced "shoo-shah") was born on this day in 1963. Xou da Xuxa was probably the most famous children's show in Brazil and Latin America. On her show, Xuxa presented cartoons and games, interviewed guests, and performed her songs. Xuxa has sold more than 40,000,000 albums - and her album 'Xou de Xuxa 3' still holds the crown as the best-selling record in Brazilian music history. oh my god! i'm brazilian and i got kinda scared when i saw xuxa here! hahahaha! i loved her show when i was a child, but she's a bit ridiculous nowadays.. or maybe i think this way because i'm a grown up now... and, of course, i have at home xou da xuxa 3. and 1, 2, 4 and 5. haha!
