We’ve received a few inquiries about the new Tullycraft / Smittens split 7” – and as luck would have it, we were just sent a small batch of them. If you would like to purchase one of these singles, they are currently available on our merch page. We don’t have very many in stock, so they will only be available for a limited time. How timely is this? It was just announced today that audio book publishers are finally pulling the plug on the cassette tape. They were the last manufacturers of this sexy format.
None of the albums that made the Billboard Top 10 last week were issued on cassette, but half were released on vinyl. What do you make of that?
I've heard recently that tapes do have a market in the prison system, where cds are not allowed because they can be made into weapons and mp3s are unavailable because prisoners are not allowed access to the Internet.

I was so desperate to own this that i paid £4 / $8 for it at the Smittens show in London tonight (sorry tonite for you bad spellers) even though i have no means of playing it.
I'd also like to point out that Colin Clary has not been seen in a sweater all week and its Tullycraft's turn to play IndieTracks next year.
