MP3 of the Day

On this day in 1985, the Parents Music Resource Center (PMRC) released the "Filthy Fifteen", a list of the fifteen songs they found most objectionable. Here is the list they released:

15. "She Bop" by Cyndi Lauper
14. "Possessed" by Venom
13. "In My House" by Mary Jane Girls
12. "Trashed" by Black Sabbath
11. "Into the Coven" by Mercyful Fate
10. "High 'n' Dry (Saturday Night)" by Def Leppard
9. "Animal (Fuck Like a Beast)" by W.A.S.P.
8. "Dress You Up" by Madonna
7. "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister
6. "Let Me Put My Love into You" by AC/DC
5. "Bastard" by Mötley Crüe
4. "Strap on Robbie Baby" by Vanity
3. "Eat Me Alive" by Judas Priest
2. "Sugar Walls" by Sheena Easton
1. "Darling Nikki" by Prince

There's no way the PMRC could be prepared for the filth indiepop would deliver from bands like Cars Can Be Blue or the teenage duo CODY with their song Two Princesses . Have a great weekend. Happy Friday!

these songs are filthy. nothing like songs from the good old honest '50s like "mack the knife" about a guy who kills a bunch of fools and has a cement block in his tugboat. also i think frank sinatra causes cancer.
