On this day in 1978, the television movie Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park originally aired on NBC. The movie's plot revolved around the band Kiss, who had to use their superpowers to battle an evil inventor and to save a California amusement park from destruction. While it was one of the highest-rated television movies of the year, even Kiss fans said it had poor acting and a terrible plot. Today we have the song Here Comes The Phantom by THE CLIENTELE.

If you were to watch this movie today you may have trouble believing its real. Its scary! For a Kiss fan its like a bruise we hid from our drunken stepfather.
