On this day in 1980, the British pop band VISAGE released the single "Fade to Grey." The single was a top ten hit in the UK and made the charts in several other countries. The band became closely linked to the burgeoning New Romantic movement and they followed-up the single with the release of their self-titled debut album which also experienced some chart success.
