MP3 of the Day

On this day in 1971, DAVID BOWIE released his fourth album, Hunky Dory. Bowie didn't have a record contract when he started recording the album in April 1971, but when RCA Records heard the tapes they signed him to a three-album deal, releasing Hunky Dory two months later. Supported by the single "Changes", the album received good reviews and sold reasonably well when it was released. Today we have the very Velvet Underground inspired Queen Bitch by DAVID BOWIE from the album Hunky Dory.

Remember, the Top Ten Songs of 2008 countdown begins tomorrow!

I thought you were going to post a song by the 80s children indiepop band Hunkydory!
