MP3 of the Day
On this day in 1966, ABC aired its last episode of the rock-n-roll variety show Shindig. The show had debuted in September 1964, and it had featured such acts as: the Ventures, the Rolling Stones, the Zombies, the Who, and the Beach Boys. NBC launched a similar show, Hullabaloo, in January 1965, which ran until August 1966. Today we have the song Spare Change by MATT & KIM from their new album Grand.

Don't forget "Where The Action Is", which ran on ABC from '65-'67, and featured Paul Revere & The Raiders as hosts. Guests included The Kinks, James Brown, The Supremes, The Who, and Captain Beefheart (?).
