MP3 of the Day
On this day in 1996, THE HALO BENDERS released their second album Don't Tell Me Now on K Records. The band formed in 1994 as a side project by Calvin Johnson (Beat Happening) and Doug Martsch (Built to Spill). Following a hiatus through the early 2000's, the band reformed in March 2007 for a pair of shows at the Visual Arts Collective in Boise, ID. Today we have one of my favorite HALO BENDERS' songs, Mercury Blues from the album Don't Tell Me Now. Happy Friday!
