MP3 of the Day

On this day in 1979, Sid Vicious died of a heroin overdose in New York. His death came just one day after he was released on $50,000 bail from Riker's Island jail . He had been arrested on suspicion of murdering his girlfriend, Nancy Spungen in October 1978. Today we have a live recording of the song Quickly and Quietly by BOAT. You can catch BOAT this Saturday (Feb 7th) at the Someday Lounge in Portland, OR. w/ Dear Nora, The Galactic Heroes, All Girl Summer Fun Band, and Tullycraft.

I don't know who's replacing AGSFB, of if such thing is happening, but I'm still obligated to be stoked. And, since Magic Marker are so incestuous (in a good way), I think they can definitely use their gigantic super-hearts to find a way to use a drummer from another band.. right?
