Today (Feb 3rd), the Norwegian Jewel cruise ship arrives in Cozumel, Mexico. This particular trip is being called the "Ships and Dip Rock-n-Roll Cruise", and it promises "the craziest, zaniest time at sea." The Mountain Goats, Sloan, The Weakerthans, Sarah McLachlanand, and The Barenaked Ladies are all scheduled to perform on board. With 12 restaurants, 11 bars, a spa, and a casino, the Norwegian Jewel offers revelry, recreation and boatloads of musical fun.... at least that's what the pamphlet says. Today we have THE MOUNTAIN GOATS covering the Thin Lizzy classic The Boys Are Back In Town. Anchors Aweigh!

I had tickets and was totally stoked for this. Then last week I tested positive for syphilis.
