On this day in 1985, Meat Is Murder, the second studio album by The Smiths was released. It would be the band's only number one album in the UK charts. It reached number 110 in the US. Morrissey and Johnny Marr produced the album themselves, assisted by engineer Stephen Street. On the album's sleeve, production is simply credited to: "The Smiths." Today we have the song Nowhere Fast by THE SMITHS from the album Meat Is Murder.
