If you didn’t make it to the Magic Marker Records 10th Anniversary show last month in Portland, you can still feel the magic thru the Magic Marker 10th Anniversary 7" Collection. This box-set of 7” singles features Magic Marker bands covering the songs of other Magic Marker bands. All of the tracks are exclusive including: Dear Nora’s version of "Air" (by The Owls), Tullycraft covering "Welcome to the Big Ten Conference" (by Vehicle Flips), and BOAT’s version "Nosebleeders on the Track" (by The Faintest Ideas). In total, there are 10 bands featured on the five singles. There were only 250 pressed, making this colored vinyl box-set a rare catch. If you ask me, The Manhattan Love Suicides’ cover of "Superboy & Supergirl" (by Tullycraft) is worth the $20 price tag alone. If this even remotely interests you… act fast.
