On this day in 2003,
The Thermals released their debut album
More Parts Per Million on
Sub Pop Records. The album was recorded in Portland, OR. on a four-track cassette recorder and mixed by
Chris Walla (Death Cab for Cutie) to a quarter-inch two-track at
The Hall of Justice studio in Seattle, WA. Today we have
live recording of
THE THERMALS performing the song
Back To Gray from the album
More Parts Per Million.
1 Comments:
Their eponymous first (i believe) EP, “The Thermals,” still remains their high water mark for me. “Everything Thermals” is, hands down, my fave track by them. The follow-up LP, “More Parts Per Million,” comes in a close second.
