On this day in 1997, the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer aired its very first episode on the WB network. The show enjoyed a cult following and ran until 2003. On September 17, 2006 the WB network ceased operation. On that day they would re-air the first episode of their "most memorable series".... Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
