MP3 of the Day
On this day in 1969, Yoko Ono and John Lennon were married in Gibraltar. They spent their honeymoon in Amsterdam and staged a "bed-in" for peace. The couple recorded a batch of songs in their room on March 22nd between 11 p.m. and 4:30 a.m. The world was invited to share in the celebration when the songs were released as the Wedding Album. John and Yoko were separated for a year in 1974. They reconciled in 1975. Today we have the song Wedding Bells In D# by SIX CENTS AND NATALIE (my lo-fi pre-Tullycraft home-recorded Casio project). Happy Friday!

When I was 17 in 1995, the woman I'm now married to put this song on a mixtape for me. Romantic! Sean gets some credit for getting us together- thanks man.
