On this day in 1978,
Siouxsie & The Banshees began recording demos for
Polydor Records at
Pathway Studios in Highbury
(in the London Borough of Islington). They recorded three songs with American soul producer
Bruce Albertine in the brief two-hour session. Today we have the debut single,
Swallow The Rockets by the Glasgow-based quartet,
PETER PARKER - not to be confused with the crappy Seattle-based band that share the same name.
